The Rizeblast game is available to download and play for free for Microsoft Windows.
Also available on itch.io!
Avoid the flying robots, space ships, and other space objects, as you blast your way to 00,000's of Credits. Grab Multiplier Power-ups and hunt for Chests containing a payday's worth of Credits! Watch-out though, those Chests can be tough to break into and you don't want to get side-swiped while you're blasting it open. Change up your weapon ammo and replenish your health at the Shop; be warned that replenishing health bars is a cut-throat business so prices are likely to rise and since Credits are your score you may want to purchase sparingly.
The concept was heavily inspired by an old Commodore 64 game - Retrograde which was created by Thalamus in the late 80's. Since it was a childhood favourite, the idea was to revive the gameplay style in a modern format, and keeping it as simple as possible whilst also giving it that "just one more go" feel. Back in the day games used to be simple on the surface with often hidden complexities, no instructions manuals, guides, or walkthroughs - you had to figure it out for yourself, and Rizeblast is a little bit like that. The mechanics and objective should be self-revealing.

Please note: Currently, it's designed to work well on a 16:9 screen ratio, you can play at other ratios but the experience won't be as good. A future update may provide better support for other ratios.
Turning off Post-Processing in the in-game Settings can improve Frame Rate.
